2026 Studio Policies

45 minutes = $60
60 minutes = $85
45 minutes = $90 (Travel Cost)
60 minutes = $110 (Travel Cost)
* I do not offer 30 minute lessons.
Payments are billed and due at the time of lesson via Venmo to The Vocal Legacy.
Late payments may result in suspension from studio.
ELIGIBLE STUDENTS: Student must be at least 8 years old to begin lessons. I do not offer piano lessons, but will incorporate music theory knowledge and self accompaniment skills during lesson if student is interested.
Students interested in all styles of music are welcome!
Cancellations & Makeup Lessons
To provide flexibility, families are able to schedule lessons on a permanent weekly or biweekly basis. To arrange lessons on a weekly basis, please reach out to the studio to inquire about open lesson spots.
In the event of a family emergency or illness, families are asked to provide notice 24 HOURS BEFORE their lesson to cancel.
Families are asked to reach me by phone for quicker communication.
If a lesson is canceled during lesson time or within a few hours of the lesson (less than 8 hours of lesson time), students will be charged for the missed lesson.
Students are encouraged to stay home if experiencing severe symptoms (coughing, fever, sore throat, and anything that could be contagious!)
When lessons are canceled in a timely fashion, students will receive a makeup lesson time.
I use a scheduling software sends out an automated lesson reminders via email 24 hours before your lesson. Please let me know if you are not receiving these emails or if you would prefer text reminders.
Habitual tardiness and cancellation will result in suspension from the studio
Teacher Lateness/Cancellation Responsibilities
If tardy, teacher is responsible to provide student with FULL LESSON TIME.
If teacher cancels lesson (which may occur due to inclement weather or illness), student is entitled to makeup lesson.
Virtual and In Person Lesson Supplies
Virtual Lessons:
Virtual lessons will be conducted over Google Meets. A link will be sent within the hours of the students lessons.
Virtual lesson students are required to have CORDED HEADPHONES to use for virtual lessons.
All students are required to have the following resources for lessons:
A 3 ring binder, pencil, and sheet music (printed out and hole punched)
A notebook to journal lessons tasks and notes
Water Bottle
A straw (metal or plastic)
A recording device (students are encouraged to audio and visual record lessons)
Student Performances
8th-grade and 12th-grade students are guaranteed one show per semester.
New students whom I’ve never seen perform are guaranteed one show attendance per school year.
If additional space allows, I will gladly consider attending other student performances. Students will complete a form with production details so I can review my calendar and confirm availability.
Lesson Referral Reward
Your referrals keep The Vocal Legacy thriving! When you refer a new student, you will receive a free voice lesson. As we continue to grow, so does my gratitude. Please leave a voice message if I am unable to answer their call.
Gratis Birthday Lesson
Each student will receive one free lesson during their birthday month! Birthdays are special to me, so as a token of my appreciation of your business, this is my gift to you. Student must be fully enrolled to receive this benefit.
FUN FACT: The Vocal Legacy’s birthday is March 25th :)
No Bullying/Discrimination Policy
The Vocal Legacy does not discriminate, or tolerate discrimination, based on race, color, sex, gender identity or expression, sexual orientation, age, religion, ethnic or national origin, physical or mental disability, genetic information, veteran status, or any other protected classes.
This studio is a safe space for students and has a zero tolerance policy for bullying. Student/ Family will be dismissed from studying at The Vocal Legacy in the event of breaching this commitment.
